A dentist claims in a class action that Missouri retaliated against him for challenging its denial of Medicaid claims for dentures – and that one state official claimed that “teeth are not necessary to eat.” James Dye, DDS, sued Missouri Department of Social Services Director Brian Kinkade, the director of its Medicaid Audit and Compliance Unit Jessica Dresner, and Dresner’s “subordinate,” Cindy Lenger, on Wednesday in Federal Court.

Levels of Anti-HBs Antibody in HBV-Vaccinated Students Enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Professions of a Large Italian University.

This study represents one of the first experiences in Italy on vaccination against HBV and the relationship between doses of vaccination and antibody titer in the biomedical students that can configure a step forward in the real-time monitoring in order to establish a register of vaccination. Niobium pentoxide as radiopacifying agent of calcium silicate-based material: evaluation of physicochemical and biological properties

Conclusions The addition of Nb2O5 to the CS resulted in a material biocompatible and with adequate characteristics regarding radiopacity and final setting time and provides an alkaline pH to the environment. Furthermore, the particle size did not significantly affect the physicochemical and biological properties of the calcium silicate-based cement.
