I need to address this growing trend in the US of as soon as someone is considered, “wronged” or a “hero” or some other random title, immediately a Go Fund Me or crowdfunding or something is started in their name. When something goes viral it can mean literally 100’s of thousands of buckaroos, but is it all entirely deserved? I’ve had a GoFundMe fundraiser for almost a year, started by me, because I have no husband or kids or many people in my life to start one for me.
