Effects of chrondro-osseous regenerative compound associated with local treatments in the regeneration of bone defects around implants: an in vivo study
Conclusions The hypothesis was rejected since the use of CORC has not increased any of the parameters evaluated. Clinical relevance Dehiscence-like defects can compromise soft tissue support and result in loss of periodontal health and implants. Hydroxyapatite can induce bone regeneration in the defects created. CORC in the formulation used in this study did not promote further bone regeneration in dehiscence-like defects. Oral health experts concerned not enough youth taking up free dental care
Children and teens are not taking advantage of free under-18s dental care because it is “uncool”, leaving young adults struggling to pay for the care when it is really needed, according to Manawatu oral health experts. A free dental care day targeted at adults with urgent problems and who can not afford to visit a dentist was held in Dannevirke on Saturday.

Developmental disturbance of a mandibular central incisor following trauma to the primary predecessor.
Authors: Tsurumachi T, Hirano Y, Hira A, Aida Y, Ogiso B Abstract When a primary tooth sustains a traumatic injury, development of the permanent tooth can be disturbed, leading to various malformations. This case report details the 7-year follow-up of a developmental anomaly of a central mandibular incisor in a 10-year-old Japanese girl with a history of dental trauma that had occurred at age 4. The trauma had resulted in unusual crown dilaceration in the permanent successor, which exhibited a discoloured and abnormal crown morphology. Radiographic examination revealed crown dilaceration of the tooth, which had a curved root canal. (J Oral Sci 57, 157-160, 2015). Evaluation of fit and efficiency of CAD/CAM fabricated all-ceramic restorations based on direct and indirect digitalization: a double-blinded, randomized clinical trial
Conclusions Although both direct and indirect digitalization facilitate the fabrication of single crowns and three-unit FDPs with clinically acceptable marginal fit, a significantly better marginal fit was noted with direct digitalization. Digital impressions are also less time-consuming for the dental practitioner and the patient. Clinical relevance The results show that a direct, intraoral, digitalized impression technique is more accurate and efficient when compared with conventional impressions in fabricating single crowns and three-unit FDPs.
