Four-day health clinic benefits 579 patients
A MEDICAL team from the US conducted a four-day clinic in Solevu Village last week where they saw 579 patients from Malolo Island and staff members from nearby hotels. The US-based Fiji Dental and Medical Foundation completed 181 fillings, 425 extractions and fitted 49 sets of dentures for Solevu villagers and staff members from the Ahura Resorts properties – Likuliku Lagoon and Malolo Island resorts.

PHO dental health serves 35,885 in 2017
A total of 35,885 kabalens from the 18 municipalities of the province were served by the Provincial Health Office under the Preventive Dental Health Management System. According to Dr. Thricia Sunglao, provincial dental supervisor, they have accomplished at least 75 dental missions from February to December in 2017.
