Kansas City is one of 34 U.S. metro areas with more than 100,000 workers in the health care and social assistance industry, a new analysis finds.
The numbers were calculated by The Business Journals’ On Numbers blog, which examined the U.S. Census Bureau’s report on county business patterns in 2010, the most recent year for which official statistics are available.
