Conclusion: These results cannot suggest that the insertion of dental implants in patients submitted to chemotherapy may or may not affect the implant failure rates, because of a limited number of published studies, most of them characterized by a low level of specificity and dealing with a limited number of cases without a control group. The reliability and validity of the data collected and the potential for biases and confounding factors are some of the shortcomings of the present study. (Source: Implant Dentistry)
