Intra-orally, it is mainly located in the submandibular, sublingual and submental region as a benign, painless lesion. This leads to symptoms such as dysphagia, dyspnoea and have a malignant transformation potential as well. Treatment of choice is surgical excision. This is a case report of epidermoid cyst diagnosed clinically as plunging ranula.
