The UAB School of Dentistry has named a new dean after a national search. Russell Taichman will become the school’s ninth dean in July 2019. Taichman joins UAB from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he has served as associate dean for research and as the Major Ash Collegiate Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine.
