A task force assigned with finding solutions to a dentist shortage in Kansas concluded Thursday that the state needs to immediately begin placing more students in out-of-state dental schools and work on establishing the state’s own dental school.
The Topeka Capital-Journal reports the task force also encouraged subsidies for dental students who agree to work in the state’s underserved rural areas.
