The uptake rate of preventative dental care increased over a ten-year period in the United States, but there remains a large disparity among ethnic groups, reports one of the largest and most comprehensive studies on the subject, published in the open-access journal Frontiers in Public Health.

FDA launches mobile friendly website

Silver Spring, Md. – The Food and Drug Administration launched a version of the FDA.gov website accessible to users of “the most popular mobile devices” including smartphones and tablets while continuing to support traditional desktop and laptop computers. Web pages offering FDA’s “most popular content,” including recalls, safety alerts, consumer updates, agency news and blogs, adjust to the device user’s screen.

Effect of an oral hygienic care program for stroke patients in the intensive care unit.

Conclusion: Our OHCP was effective in improving the oral hygienic status and periodontal health of stroke patients during their stay in the ICU. ConclusionsDespite the presence of exudate in the root canals, the position of the major foramen in teeth with large periapical lesions can be determined with high level of precision either by ProPex or Apex Pointer.
