The fang-maker and musician kicked off her final fang tour in Miami on Friday after touring for 10 years. Custom teeth, tusks and fangs from her company, Teeth by Dnash, are featured at TattooLaPalooza, a convention of tattoo artists and other craft-makers running Friday to Sunday at the Hyatt Regency Downtown.

Genetic Susceptibility to Dental Caries Differs between the Sexes: A Family-Based Study
Many of the factors affecting susceptibility to dental caries are likely influenced by genetics. In fact, genetics accounts for up to 65% of inter-individual variation in dental caries experience. Sex differences in dental caries experience have been widely reported, with females usually exhibiting a higher prevalence and severity of disease across all ages. The cause for this sex bias is currently uncertain, although it may be partly due to the differential effects of genetic factors between the sexes: gene-by-sex interactions. Medicare will not cover routine dental checkups, cleanings, fillings or dentures.
I’m about to sign up for Medicare Part A and B and would like to find out what they don’t cover so I can avoid any unexpected costs down the road. While Medicare covers a wide array of health care services, it certainly doesn’t cover everything.
