Bondbone (calcium sulfate alloplast) washing out: thoughts?

I tried socket preservation using calcium sulfate (Bondbone) after extraction of an upper lateral incisor root. The site was sutured but not closed completely. (Source: Dental Implants Discussed by Experts)
